Gold Coins Acquisition

Most of us have a great attraction towards golden ornaments. Most of them invest their money in gold, platinum and other precious metals, as their value never tends to decrease. Several companies exist for buying and selling gold coins online. Most of them are fake websites owned by fraudulent agencies. Its our responsibility to single out a reliable website.

Precious metals in bulk form are known as bullions, and are traded on commodity markets. Bullion metals can be cast into ingots,or minted into coins. The defining attributes of bullion is that it is valued by its mass and purity rather than by a face value as money.

A website namely goldcoinsgain is serving the people in the gold coins market. The website is Aurum Advisors' online resource for gold coin and gold bullion acquisition. No other website gives you such easily accessible information on just about every physical gold topic under the sun.

The website contains tasks such as Gold Investing Info, Gold Bullion Coins, Certified gold coins etc,. Tech Bite:Blu-Ray Technology

Nowadays we often hear the term Blu-ray discs in our day-to-day life.
What’s Blu-ray? Blue ray is the name of the next generation optical disc format developed by BDA, the Blu-Ray Disc Association. The Blu-Ray discs are currently manufactured by all leading consumer electronics and media manufacturers (including Apple, Dell, Hitachi, HP, JVC, LG, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, TDK and Thomson). The format was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data The Blu-ray discs can hold data upto a massive 25 GB capacity on a single layer disc. Eventhough all DVD’s and Blu-Ray discs are similar in size, how is it possible for the Blu-ray disc alone to hold this much of data?
In CD’s and DVD’s a red laser is used to burn the data on the discs, whereas in Blu-ray discs a blue-violet laser is used to write the data on to the disc. Hence the name ‘Blu-Ray’. The wavelength of the red laser is (650 nm) which is higher than the wavelength of blue laser (405 nm). This makes it possible for the Blu-Ray technology to write the data onto the disc with more precision when compared with the DVD’s. Blu-ray products can easily be made backwards compatible with CDs and DVDs through the use of a BD/DVD/CD compatible optical pickup unit. The film industry has been greatly benefited due to the arrival of Blu-Ray disc. The producers of a movie can release their movie in High-Def formats with the help of BD discs. Pioneer has currently developed a BD which can hold data upto 500 GB using 20 layers. Further enhancements of this technology are under development.

Tech Bite:Sony P-Series notebooks

Sony launched its ultra-light weight P-Series notebooks at the Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas. Can you guess the weight of the new Sony P-Series notebook?? It’s an unbelievable 638 grams for the three cell variant. The 6 cell battery model weighs a few grams more. The 8 inch 16:9 widescreen is extremely clear and can run at a resolution of 1600x768. This may be a great technical achievement but makes the users to stare at the screen. The Sony P-Series provides a zoom function to combat this issue, but it can even be solved by reducing the resolution by few pixels. In order to reduce the size to a larger level, the Sony P-Series has sacrificed its trackpad for a nub nested in the middle of the keyboard. It takes some time to get adapted to using this nub for cursor controls. The keypad is really comfortable, except the fact that you tend to brush the nub once in a while, which may change the position of the cursor while typing.

Another difficulty is that the webcam is placed to the right of the screen instead of the usual above-screen position. This leaves the user twisting his head to get his picture in the center of the screen. The memory is very limited with a minimal 60 GB hard disk. The connectivity is provided through bluetooth devices, draft-n-Wi-Fi facility. There is sim-free 3G HSDPA modem and inbuilt GPS technology.
The price of the Sony P-Series remains a great worry. The Sony P-Series notebooks are priced at £ 1368.99 Only those who wish to carry the latest gizmos in their pockets wish to buy the Sony P-Series notebooks at this huge price.

TUK TUK – THAILAND

Have you ever wondered what an auto like vehicle used in Thailand is called?. We would be travelling in a TUK TUK as they call if we take a auto there. These TukTuks are unlike the normal autos used in the sub continent, but are more larger in size and can travel at a greater speed. The average speed of tuktuk in the city of Bangkok is about 60 kmph and the drivers too find them more comfortable travelling in such high speeds. These kind of vehicles come under various models such as ordinary, deluxe etc. The thing that interests us is the passion of the drivers of these and the extent to which they enjoy driving the same. If you have ever seen the famous ad campaign of VISA starring one of the bonds - Pierce Brosnon in which he takes a tuktuk to travel in the city of Bangkok and finds him very surprised with the kind of service they offer and Bond finally pays the tuktuk fare charges by using a VISA CARD. No wonder, if tuktuks have come up with something called the TUKTUK card similar to a petrocard.
